Website Advertising

Advertising on the Western Angler web site is a powerful and cost-effective way to promote your service or product to thousands of online visitors. Our banner ads rotate throughout the website to ensure you get the best possible advertising exposure.

We offer discounts on Banner, Button and Directory ads for organisations who advertise in the print magazine. It is a requirement that Button and Directory display advertisers be offering products and services in and around recreational fishing and that they have a maintained URL to allow active linking to the advertiser from the Button or Banner ad on our site.

Display advertising is on the basis of time of placement, not views or click-throughs. Banner display ads are located within the web page masthead and display in rotation with up to a maximum of seven other advertisers.

A discount of 25% applies for Western Angler print magazine contract advertisers for the duration of the print advertising contract.

Ad placement is for a minimum four monthly period and we’ll create your basic banner ad free of charge if you don’t have one. To change or customise your banner down the track (say for a special promotion or when introducing a new product line) will incur a $75 design adjustment charge. Animated banners are also available for an additional $180.

All Charter/Safari/Holiday advertisements are FREE and consist of a standard one-line entry. Please note again that for website Display ads a discount of 25% applies for Western Angler print magazine Directory advertisers for the duration of the print advertising contract.

New Products Forum (Effective November 7, 2006)
Advertising in the New Products Forum is $44.00 per two month period, less 25% for magazine advertisers.

Conditions:
All Banner advertisers must have an active linking URL site at the time their advertisement is submitted. The advertisement must be submitted at least five working days before the campaign commencement date. Western Angler magazine reserves the right to refuse or accept any advertisement submitted.

All advertising rates quoted include GST.
