Got up well before dawn this morning for a good yak. Hit the Sound with 7 other guys, trying a sucession of spots till the sun fully rose. I then did a series of trolling runs along a 1km strip, scoring a great hit on the first run. Played a good fish to just out of gaff range, to pull the hooks. Grambled, spat and cursed my way up for another run, and picked up this beauty at the same spot, same lure next run. Put up a great fight on my Nitro Distance Spin, Banax i1600 and 10lb line.
Called it a day about 9.30ish and punched back through a strengthy headwind, and pants wettening chop. But to big smiles all round, Jutto picked up his fish on a mulie and snelled rig. Do i look happy?!

Great day all round!!

Great to see the rewards starting to come after all the hours you've been putting in

Congrats on an excellent Pink mate, well done!

Al.

I think you fellas should tee it up with Wangler about doing an article. You've had some mad success lately! (I know you've probably done the hard yards though). Makes me want to get into yakkin'.
