Went down to DWP for breakfast this morning and this sad looking tub was high and dry on the Mt Henry side of the boat ramp.

At first I thought it might have broken a mooring in those easterlies last night but its location was too wrong for that to happen.  When I got closer and saw the size of the hole and the rip down the side it's obviously happened at speed and given where it was located on the sand at 10am I'm guessing it must have happened last night and the tide has since gone out.  Maybe it glanced one of the channel markers in the dark and then beelined for shore.

Anyone hear anything about it?

A bit of chicken wire, cardboard and a couple of tins of car bog and she'll be as good as new!
Keep an eye out for it in the quokka soon!
