Tributary of the mouth of the Murray
I know it's not a winner , but it's my favourite early morning walk , also one of the better bird watching site on the Peel.

RAMSAR listed and a special place to me.

Uninhabited Allen Island in the southwestern Gulf of Carpentaria. Heaps of rocky shoals (and fish) around it.
