Hope not...

I think a Melbourne team would be his best fit.

Actually Brissy would be the best place.....no rock star treatment of AFL players up there.....may be just what he needs.......

Of course, this mornings news has him purportedly not wanting to play due to the drug testing regime being too strict, or too often. If that were the case you'd say he still wants to do 'sh!t'.....and if that's the case, he's a dumbarse!!

Yep agree with you but suspect it is a media beat up.  The testing calls for up to 3 times per week.  Might be one or might be three - in any case as they will be at the club probably 5 or 6 times a week then a quick pee in a bottle is neither here nor there.     What next -- making me drive to training 5 times a week or meet with sponsors twice a week is too harsh.????.    If he doesn't accept the conditions then it sounds like he still just wants to do what pleases him.

It was. The conditions are pretty full on...and he remarked as such. But he is willing to comply with them in order to play.

This is what i got a chuckle out of...

quote:

THE AFL Commission gave Ben Cousins the green light to play again even though he was unable to provide a hair sample for a drug test.
The Herald Sun believes the test could not be conducted because Cousins recently opted for a shaved haircut.
The rest of his body had been waxed to a length shorter than the 3cm required for hair testing to be considered accurate.
It is understood Cousins, his manager Ricky Nixon and a film documentary team arrived at the designated place and time to do the test, only to learn of the 3cm requirement.
An AFL letter to Cousins did not stipulate at least 3cm of hair was needed.

Haha. Went the Telly Savalas look before the medical and was surprised they couldn't do the hair test

A not so subtle "sticking it to the man" effort by Cuzzy bro there

I reckon it is a wishy washy decision. Talk about Nero fiddling while Rome burned.
