Hear yesterday that at the end of this season Mark Skaife will be retiring as a full time V8 driver.
Sad to see him go but its true to say that his racing in the last couple of seasons has not been what it was. He was a newbie when I started watching V8s so it is really an end of an era. I'm sure we will still see plenty of him 'around the tracks' and hope he can still have some success in the enduros that he has said he will probably be back for.
