I seem to have upset the fishing gods somehow.

I work shifts , a pretty fisher friendly one at that , never any more than 3 days away from being able to get on the water.

For the past few months I cant believe how my days at work have been (for the best part) sunny with light breezes.

Days off however have been frustratingly crappy , rain after nice days on, strong winds from the South after gentle breezes from the East.

This morning , overcast, southerly breeze up already , what must I do to appease to Gods ..........sacrificing one of the kids is out , and I dont know any virgins, possibly I'd consider the dog.

How can I  get back in favour ....... any suggestions.

I thinking of pulling out of the wabdo for the sake of others it's been that bad.

know the feeling mate. Don't worry it happens to us all  How long ago was it we last had a fish together mate?  Its not through lack of wanting to!!

On the bright side, a coat of primer went on the flats boat on Sunday.  Should be spraying the final coat on her this weekend  Will post some photos on the tread in the next couple of days. Lovely shape to that hull.

Steve

Its all an Illusion. those days when you are work only seem calm and flat.

ask any one who had them off and they found otherwise.

I hate fine weekdays and then crook weekends one after the next

Thats been part of the curse Brian , look at the weekend just gone .

Beautiful weather , light breezes.

I'm rostered on Sat-Mon and just had to watch it from the workshop doorway, come Tues it just about goes back to winter .

Been happening far to regularly to just be bad luck .

I've definitely been cursed , no two ways about it,and a very powerful curse it is at that.

Whats the bet we get rain this weekend.......... I'm off .

If not rain it will be howling gales , tidal waves or the sky will fall in .

At present seeking out an old gypsy women that lives on the edge of the forest , she wants my first born grand child to lift the curse.

I've offered the 3rd born........ but she's driving a hard bargain.
