for the flag next year

shot this with a 200mm telephoto yesterday
at first i thaught it was the biggest osprey i'd ever seen but through the lens i realised it was an eagle in its juvinile geurnsy
wasn't untill i downloaded it that i realised it was perched on an unfortunate turtle (hawksbill turtle)

Big tip tup for the bird, would have struggled a bit I reckon if it grabbed itself

yeah bit hard to get the talons in too

i think he was just playing "king of the castle" for a bit

Some good pics thier Dick. Do they live by themselves or do they travel in 2's??

Sorry, missed this, sometimes see them paired up but more often than not they're on their own
