Your site http://www.ningalooreefteach.com/ is very divisive over the issue of fishing and diving. It's ironic that the words "people want to be devisive in these issues" come from your own email, and in this case we are definitely NOT "swimming in the same direction".
Divers have won 34% of the area in sanctuary zones. Why rub anglers's noses in it.?
Why not promote a "we can live together with this" approach?
If you want to know why you don't get much cooperation from recreational anglers it is because of statements like have been made on that website which are very much anti-angling.
It's easy to lose respect and very hard to get it back again.
Your site has a number of outrageous statements which won't stand up to strutiny. And then there's the cheap shots.
If you have a good case, you don't need to overstate the case or you risk getting proved wrong. Opponents will ignore all the good points and attack the weak point in a case.
I am coming to Exmouth in May and was planning to meet you.
I regret to say that my attitude of "cooperation with anyone" will be very sorely tested if those statements are still there on your website.
